ACT & SAT
The SAT is longer than the ACT and has a total of 10 sections. The ACT has four sections, with an optional fifth section (writing). Students may take the ACT with or without the writing section. However, many colleges require the writing section in order for them to consider the ACT scores. The ACT and SAT are written and administered by different companies.
