What are your chances of getting into college?

Restrictive Early Action College Application Statistics

The last minute application-rush for future college students of the Class of 2015 is just about over.Except of course the worrying about what will arrive in their mailboxes – email in-boxes of course – in a few months. Of course, the colleges like to keep their yield percentages down to authenticate their exclusivity, so of course those who applied via early decision took the more advantageous route – not only because they found out status in December, but also because they took a coveted seat that many more students will be vying for in the regular decision round. For example, the University of Pennsylvania typically accepts 50% of their incoming freshman class during the early decision round of applications. This adds extra stress to those regular candidates who more than likely applied to at least ten colleges, thanks to the “convenience” of the common application.
